Attend a School Board Meeting!

Have you ever attended a school board meeting? They can be quite informative and insightful as to the happenings in our district. The below dates are held in person (NSD 3330 Monte Villa Pkwy, Bothell) or can be watched later on once the session is recorded.

  • Monday, April 25th, 7-8:30pm

  • Monday, May 9th, 4-5:30pm
  • Monday, May 23rd, 7-8:30pm

School Board meetings are usually held on the second Monday of the month at 4pm and the fourth Monday of the month at 7pm.

Focus on Advocacy - Submit an Issue, Resolution or Principle

As a grassroots association, Washington State PTA relies on its members to provide the priorities that we will advocate for at the state-level and within our communities. Be part of that process and submit an issue, resolution, or principle that addresses concerns that affect children on a state-wide level.

Deadline is May 1st for a draft.

2022 Legislative Session Wrap-up!

The fast-paced 2022 legislative session has ended, but what are the results?

Join WSPTA Legislative Consultant Marie Sullivan on April 26th from 7-8:30pm to get the scoop.

Marie will summarize the operating and capital budget investments and brief members on policy bills. 

In addition, she’ll talk about bills that didn’t pass that might make good positions for the Fall Legislative Assembly. This will be an interactive Zoom meeting, so come prepared with your questions too.

Learn about social identities, the history of racism and resistance against it, and how you can use your anti-racist lens and voice to move the world toward equity and liberation.

Please join NSD Racial and Educational Justice team and PACE @ Wellington for this session for Northshore families interested in an open and positive conversation about race and identity.
