Canyon Creek PTA Helping Hands Program Sign up to Receive Support Canyon Creek PTA has a program called Canyon Creek PTA Helping Hands . This is a completely confidential assistance program for families of Canyon Creek Elementary that is coordinated through Canyon Creek Office Manager, Sue Hanson. The PTA will help fulfill needs, but will have no information about the families who request support.   What kinds of support is offered? Canyon Creek PTA After School Enrichment Program Winter 2021  We are excited to announce FOUR (4) after school classes offered this winter! Make sure to read the details below - and check out the classes offered. QR code - Weird Black & White Square - How do I USE that?
We wanted to share instructions about how to use a "QR code". It's basically a shortcut to a webpage! You CAN use a QR Reader app on your phone, but you don't have to. Now, your phone's built in camera will just read it. See instructions below!! Open your phone built in camera app Point your device at the  QR code  so the  QR code  appears  on your  screen. Canyon Creek PTA Spelling Bee is BACK!!  Open to all 3rd-5th grade students!   *In Case You Were Wondering* Can we provide Art Docent lessons during remote learning? YES!! We can still provide Art Docents during remote learning!! Learning about art is so important. Northshore School District is encouraging schools & PTAs to work together to ensure art is taught to EVERY student. Advocacy: November 2020 & WSPTA Legislative Assembly RECAP
  RECAP: WSPTA Legislative Assembly   Delegates from across the state virtually attended the 42nd Annual WSPTA Legislative Assembly on October 24th and 25th to learn, collaborate, debate, and ultimately vote on a variety of legislative principles, issues, and resolutions. During the Assembly, the delegates voted and selected the  2020-2021 Legislative Platform . It was a highly educational, productive and successful weekend.   In 1990, Congress authorized and requested the President to issue a proclamation designating the month of November 1990 as “National American Indian Heritage Month.” Since then, our current and past Presidents have issued annual proclamations which designate November as National American Indian Heritage Month , and since 2009, as National Native American Heritage Month .
