  RECAP: WSPTA Legislative Assembly   Delegates from across the state virtually attended the 42nd Annual WSPTA Legislative Assembly on October 24th and 25th to learn, collaborate, debate, and ultimately vote on a variety of legislative principles, issues, and resolutions. During the Assembly, the delegates voted and selected the  2020-2021 Legislative Platform . It was a highly educational, productive and successful weekend.   In 1990, Congress authorized and requested the President to issue a proclamation designating the month of November 1990 as “National American Indian Heritage Month.” Since then, our current and past Presidents have issued annual proclamations which designate November as National American Indian Heritage Month , and since 2009, as National Native American Heritage Month .
