Please find the Nominating Committee Report below, along with the notice that the self-declared nomination period is open through Monday, March 8th. We have two positions without nominees, however, you can self nominate for any of the elected positions. (Note, the nominee for Treasurer Assistant position is our current treasurer. She is running for the assistant position to help ease the transition of the Treasurer role since she can't hold the Treasurer position next year due to the 2-year term limit.) The 2021-2022 Canyon Creek PTA nominating committee hereby places the following names into nomination:
The nominating committee has confirmed that all nominees have been a member of a PTA for at least 15* days prior to the election, and meet other requirements as stated in the WSPTA Uniform Bylaws. (*For councils, nominees shall have been a member of a local PTA in the council for at least 30 days preceding the election.)

The self-declared ("from the floor") nomination period is now open. People wanting to nominate themselves for an elected position on Canyon Creek PTA must complete the Self-Nomination form. The nomination period ends on Monday, March 8th, 2021 at 11:59PM. In order to be elected, candidates must be 18 years or older and must have been a PTA member for at least 15 days prior to the election.
If there is any contested position at the close of the self-nomination period, we will send out an electronic voting method. If no position is contested, we will hold an election by voice vote in our next General Meeting on Tuesday, March 16th. Please register prior to the meeting to receive the Zoom link.
