While the world isn’t ready for us to come together in close proximity, the Can Do Community is definitely ready to celebrate everything that defines the Can Do Spirit virtually. We welcome new and returning Can Do 5K participants to support the incredible children and adults who exemplify the best in all of us. Let’s run/walk/roll together virtually!

We are changing things up this year by adding Can Do 5K Fun Run medals, a Virtual Kids Fun Run (complete with Can Do Fun Run Medal), a week to complete your Can Do 5K Fun Run, and more opportunities to interact over social platforms. 

Events 

Can Do 5K Fun Run (adults 15+) -- $35
Kid Can Do Fun Run (ages 1-14) -- $15

Each registration include a medal (and the opportunity to purchase a t-shirt).

My Village Northwest’s mission is to create an environment in which Can Do happens every day by improving health, safety, and quality of life of individuals with intellectual or developmental disABILITIES.

• We value individuals of all abilities.
• We develop partnerships to create awareness and access to resources in the community.
• We foster social opportunities for individuals with intellectual or developmental disABILITIES and their families.

Organized by My Village Northwest, the annual Can Do 5K Fun Run is so much more than a race. At its heart, it’s a celebration of our awe-inspiring participants as they run/walk/roll to the finish line and their supporters--over 1,600 people! As we come together virtually, we bring awareness to what kids with special needs face and focus on what they can overcome. Then we take it a step further: We raise the funds that provide essential programs throughout the year. Let’s be clear about this: The Can Do 5K is the sole fundraiser for My Village Northwest’s programs that support individuals with special needs and their families and make our community more inclusive.

Sign Up Today!

Use the link below to sign up today! The registration fee is $35 per adult and $15 per child. Registration fee includes a medal! If we get 50 or more registrations for our team, our PTA will receive a $500 donation!!

The registration process asks you to make a donation as well-- that is optional. Our team name is "Canyon Creek Coyotes" - it should default to that team if you use the link below, but you can also search for it if you go directly through the run website. There is a PASSWORD for join the team: "coyotes".

Team & Fundraising Awards

Join our team! It’s more fun to run/walk/roll together, even if it is virtually. 

• Remember: Teams with 50 registrations or more will receive a $500 donation to the school’s PTA or the represented not-for-profit to support inclusive opportunities! (50 registrations NOT 50 team members.)

Largest School Challenge - The Stinky Shoe Award

• We want to encourage our schools to a friendly rivalry of who can form the biggest school team. Bragging rights for the year!

Best Team Spirit

• Be the team that has the most fun. Wear costumes or special shirts, sing, do a cheer and celebrate as you run or train. Send in a video or picture to #CanDo5K.
