2018-19 Early Release / Dismissals - Canyon Creek - UPDATED
Updated  - due to snow days, as of 3/11/2019: most Wednesdays are FULL DAYS, except 3/20 and 6/5. The early release day for conferences was rescheduled to Friday, 4/5 (dismissal at 12:10pm -- for elementary only). And school will be starting 10 minutes earlier as of 3/11/2019. Skyview/Canyon Creek Expansion Project The construction crews at the Skyview/Canyon Creek (SkyCreek) expansion project have been busy all summer long preparing the grounds for the new building, which will add 30 new classrooms. Part of the work included grading the site for the building pad, which involved moving lots of dirt and relocation of the parking lot areas. The crews also started pouring concrete the first week of September and will continue to pour more for the foundation over the next few weeks. Skyview Campus - CLOSED FOR SUMMER
Beginning June 25, NSD will be preparing Skyview & Canyon Creek for construction for the Skyview Middle School/Canyon Creek Elementary multi-use building and campus renovations. In an abundance of caution, the Skyview campus, including the tennis courts and track, will be off limits to students, staff and the community until further notice. Free Summer Meals for Children 18 and Younger There are a number of food programs in the Northshore area to support families during the summer months. The Northshore School District will serve breakfast and lunch at no charge to all children who are 18 and younger thanks to a program funded through the U.S. Department of Agriculture. Children do not have to be enrolled in the District to receive this benefit.
