Canyon Creek PTA Membership,

Below please find the report from the Nominating Committee, listing the nominees for each of the officer positions for the 2020-2021 Canyon Creek PTA board.

Updated April 10th: The election for these positions will take place at the May General Membership Meeting - and the April General Membership will allow us to prepare and approve a method for electronic voting - since we will not be able to meet in person. 

Note: One required position for next year's board does not have a nominee. We are still seeking individuals who are interested in serving as President. There are also two other board positions available, but not required - President-Elect and Assistant Treasurer. If you would like to know more about any of these positions, please contact the Nominating Committee for more information: nomcom@canyoncreekpta.org.

2020 Nominating Committee Report
Date: March 1st, 2020

The 2020-2021 Canyon Creek PTA nominating committee hereby places the following names into nomination:

  • For the office of President: OPEN
  • For the office of VP of Programs: Melanie McKenzie
  • For the office of VP of Communications: Jennifer Snyder
  • For the office of Secretary: Emily Cross
  • For the office of Treasurer: Mumtaz Zimbalist

The nominating committee has confirmed that all nominees have been a member of a PTA for at least 15* days prior to the election, and meet other requirements as stated in the WSPTA Uniform Bylaws. (*For councils, nominees shall have been a member of a local PTA in the council for at least 30 days preceding the election.)
