We thought it might be fun to introduce different groups of staff at Canyon Creek Elementary.
Putting a face to the names helps make a community stronger!

What is one thing that Canyon Creek students would be surprised to know about you?

To learn a little about these educators, we asked them, "What is one thing that Canyon Creek students would be surprised to know about you?"

  • Mrs. Hall: I like to go camping and riding our quads. I am also the grandmother of six boys.
  • Mrs. Skywka: Both my kids went to Canyon Creek and I started volunteering here in 2007 when my daughter started Kindergarten. Also Mrs. Lindley was the one who encouraged me to come to work here. This is my 4th year as an employee at the school. And I love it!
  • Mr. Graff: I used to have a pony tail and while vacationing in Alaska, I went on a bear expedition where the group (about 15 of us) ended up sitting on a gravel bar in the middle of a river surrounded by about 9 grizzly bears - some as close as 40 feet away.
  • Mrs. Christensen: I have been a Canyon Creek Coyote for 32 years! Growing up I lived on a lake where I fished, swam and drove a boat around an island. I have 5 grandchildren that I enjoy spending time with.
