We thought it might be fun to introduce different groups of staff at Canyon Creek Elementary.
Putting a face to the names helps make a community stronger!

Music Teachers

What is your favorite instrument and musician?

To learn a little about these teachers, we asked them, "What is your favorite instrument and musician?".

  • Mr. Gray: I enjoy it all, guitar, piano, drum-set! One of my favorite groups right now is Khruangbin, a Houston-based psychedelic funk trio that does renditions of Thai folk/funk classics.
  • Ms. McLain: I love playing piano and have played since I was in second grade. I like folky music, like Nickel Creek.
  • Dr. Baker: My favorite instrument is the voice, and my favorite musician is Kelly Clarkson.
