We thought it might be fun to introduce different groups of staff at Canyon Creek Elementary.
Putting a face to the names helps make a community stronger!

1st Grade Teachers

What is your favorite thing about your job?

To learn a little about these teachers, we asked them, "What is your favorite thing about your job?".

  • Mrs. Lindley: I love finding new books to share with my students to inspire them to read more.
  • Mrs. Axtell: My favorite part of teaching is the connection I make with students.
  • Ms. Masterson: My favorite part of teaching is making connections with my students and building our classroom community together!
  • Mrs. Barton: One of my favorite parts of teaching is building relationships with students and families. I love showing all students that learning is fun and watching this materialize on their faces during 'ah ha' moments.
  • Mrs. Sprague: My favorite part of teaching is building relationships with the kids and creating a classroom community.
