Please join us for our PTA General Membership meeting on Tuesday, March 12th, 6:30-8:00pm in the school cafeteria.

 

Parent Education

Our guest speaker, Robin McKenzie, is locally and nationally trained in emergency management, CERT, Stop the Bleed, active shooter trainer and so much more.  He is also the chair for Emergency Preparedness and Safety for Northshore Council PTSA. 

Discussion topics include (number of topics covered will depend on amount of discussion for each):
  • Why do we need to be 2 Week Ready – Hazards in our area
  • How to make a plan for your family 
  • What should you have in an emergency kit and why two kits
  • Next steps e.g. Map Your Neighborhood, CERT, Stop The Bleed, First Aid, ARES, Citizen Corp.

 

PTA Business

In addition to the wonderful parent training, we will have our 2019-2020 board elections (find the 2019 Nominating Committee Report here) and other PTA business.
