No School Board Meetings are scheduled for August!

All residents are welcome to attend regular board meetings. The board provides a public comment period at the beginning of each meeting. During public comments, individuals may address the school board. Those interested in speaking should sign up prior to the meeting on a sheet available at the back of the board room.

School Board meetings are usually held on the second Monday of the month at 4pm and the fourth Monday of the month at 7pm.  They are held in the Dr G.E. Ricketts Board Room in the Northshore School District Administrative Center, 3330 Monte Villa Parkway, Bothell, 98021.

Strong Start - Talking with Your Child About Puberty

Tuesday, May 7, 2019 | 6:30 - 8pm at Woodin Elementary (12950 Northeast 195th Street Bothell, WA 98011)

Woodin PTA, in partnership with Northshore Council PTSA, would like to invite you to this Parent Education Night for parents and guardians of elementary aged students (grades 3-5).:

Parents want to talk with their child about puberty, but may not be sure how to start or what to say. Educator Robin Wright will lead this seminar which provides parents with information and skills on how to start conversations, what to cover at each age, and how to answer tricky questions. The physical, emotional and social changes of puberty are also reviewed to help parents feel better prepared and know what to expect.

May is National Mental Health Month.  The first week of the month is Children’s Mental Health Awareness Week, focusing on raising awareness of the mental health needs of America’s youth.  May 6th is National Children’s Mental Health Awareness Day.
