Looking for Website & Newsletter Help for Next School Year! 

UPDATE: We found someone for this role! YAY!!!

Our current webmaster and newsletter editor, Nicole Trimble, is on the slate for the 2022-23 PTA Board of Directors as VP Communications. She needs to hand off some of the work updating the website and creating the newsletters, so she can focus on the VP position. Luckily, she has 2 more years at Canyon Creek, so she can pass her knowledge on to new volunteers.

Key attributes for success include:

• has great written communication skills
• is a team player (lots of collaboration with other volunteers to get details of programs, etc)
• is well-organized
• has a passion for clarity (specifically thinking about what NEW families need to know, what questions people might have, etc.)
• enjoys creativity (creating images for newsletter & website articles, as well as collaboration with social media to use common image elements across all platforms)
• has attention to detail
• interested in learning, not only about the platform, but also about how programs work, how PTA works, etc!

There are 2 different positions: Website Editor & Newsletter Editor. Both positions could be taken on by one person - but a team approach may be better, as collaboration makes for better content and is more fun! Co-chairs for either/both positions would be great too!
