We held a special PTA General Membership meeting on Monday, April 5th (that was originally a PTA Board Meeting) to discuss an adjustment to our budget that we hoped to get in before the school year ended. 

• Our membership voted to offer Canyon Creek Elementary staff grants to allow for reimbursement of up to $75.00, for any staff member that has made a purchase this school year for items to support their students either at school or in a virtual environment. Receipts will be required and all requests will be reviewed by the PTA executive board of directors. Find the details about the staff grants.
• We are also pleased to announce we have several Canyon Creek PTA leaders that were voted by membership to attend and represent Canyon Creek PTA at the annual Washington State PTA Convention this May.  The leaders attending the convention are: Karen Smith, Jennifer Snyder, Nicole Trimble, Priya Patel and Melanie McKenzie.
