Thanksgiving Meals

Our PTA and Canyon Creek Elementary are teaming up again to offer this confidential program for our school families in need. Requests for needs can be confidentially made directly to Sue Hanson, Canyon Creek Elementary Office Manager (or via the Google Form in this article).

This is a year long program and we are hoping to provide holiday meals & grocery gift cards, fulfill wish lists for the winter break holidays, and more.

Help Provide Thanksgiving Meals

There are two options for our school community to help with this program and have a part in providing Thanksgiving Meals for our families!

Donate FOOD

• Deadline for signing up to donate food is Thursday, November 19th - to ensure there is time for the committee to shop for any unclaimed items on the list. 
• Sign up for specific items, shop and deliver to Canyon Creek for the Thanksgiving meals. Drop off time will be Monday, November 23rd, 7:30am-10am. If you are unable to drop off at that time, please contact Melanie McKenzie to make alternative arrangements. SIGN UP HAS CLOSED - we are still accepting monetary donations to help with Thanksgiving and Holiday Wishlists! 
• SAFETY NOTE: If you have COVID, have been recently exposed to COVID, have COVID like symptoms or feel sick, please do not come to campus. We will have plenty of other ways to help in the coming months!

Donate MONEY

If would prefer to donate money, will be accepting monetary donations to help fulfill Thanksgiving Meal requests. Any donations in excess of what we need for Thanksgiving meals will be used for other Helping Hands events.
