Helping Hands: "Be a Holiday Hero"

SPECIAL NOTE:
We could really use help with gift cards since PTAs cannot purchase gifts cards due to IRS regulations!

As we approach the winter break, we are working to help families in our school community that could use a little help with gifting. This has been a HUGE success the last two years and we are thrilled to be able to do it again this year. Check out the ways you can help.

Shop for Individuals & Deliver to School

• Select one individual or multiple individuals in the SignupGenius link. Please signup for gifts you will purchase no later than Thursday, December 9th. Our Helping Hands Team will need to have time to complete any outstanding shopping!

• Purchasing options:
  • Children (ages 0-18): we kindly ask you to spend roughly $35.00-$40.00 per individual child
  • Adults: purchase $25 physical gift card per adult (note on gift cards - our PTA cannot purchase gift cards this year per IRS rules) 

• We recognize that some of the "child" lists have many items- know the items listed are ideas from the families. We DO NOT EXPECT all items for an individual to be fulfilled.

•  Delivery:
  • Please label each gift with family letter and individual # (for example "A-3"). 
  • Please bring all UNWRAPPED gift items to the school on Monday, December 13th between 7:30am-9:30am. Drop off is near the office. If you are unable to drop off during this time, please contact Melanie McKenzie, Canyon Creek PTA Helping Hands Chair to make alternative arrangements.

• If you are not able to commit to purchasing and delivering actual gifts or physical gift cards, but still want to support our "Be a Holiday Hero" program, you can make a monetary donation to help fund our Helping Hands Program (our Helping Hands Helpers will shop on your behalf or it will be used for future Helping Hands events).
