Volunteers Needed for APEX Fun Run!

Canyon Creek Elementary is holding a school-wide fundraiser starting Tuesday, September 28th, with a FUN RUN during recess on Thursday, October 7th.

Canyon Creek PTA is helping to recruit volunteers for the APEX Fun Run on October 7th. There are two different volunteer positions available for each grade.

• Lap Markers: They need 10-12 volunteers to stand on the "start line" and mark student's Fun Run shirts with each lap they complete. It's a fun, high energy job - and you can cheer on the students and tell them what a great job they are doing as they pause to get their lap marked. 
• Water Volunteers: They need 2 volunteers to help with the water table on the track - filling cups and helping to keep kids hydrated (and probably help clean up the cups before the next grade's turn).

IMPORTANT VOLUNTEER REQUIREMENTS:
Volunteers must be approved by NSD via the "Become an NSD Volunteer" process, including background check. Volunteers will also be required to submit a proof of COVID vaccination or medical/religious exemption.
