On Friday, November 9th, Canyon Creek students and staff would like to invite veterans and families to honor our veterans' service to our country. All of our Canyon Creek community is welcome to attend and see our performances, accompany our veterans, and honor the day.
Friday, November 9th
Assembly #1: 9:15-10am
Reception: 10-10:30am
Assembly #2: 10:30-11:15am
Additionally, we will have musical performances from the 1st and 4th grade classrooms, guest speakers, and a presentation of the color guard by our students involved with Girl Scouts, Cub Scouts, and Boy Scouts.
Canyon Creek families should be getting the invitation in their student's Monday envelopes soon. Please take a moment to RSVP if a veteran will be attending, either via the form sent home, or contact Elliot Gray, Music Teacher and Assembly Coordinator (egray@nsd.org or 425-408-5709). Please include Veteran's Name, Student(s) and Classroom Teacher(s), and which assembly they will attend (#1, #2 or both).

In the time between the two assemblies, Canyon Creek PTA will host a reception for our visiting veterans. We would love to show them our appreciation by putting together a little spread of snacks and goodies!
If you can bring something or contribute please sign up! Plan to drop snacks and goodies in the Champions room (by the cafeteria) by 9am on November 9th!
