We wanted to share with you our refreshed PTA Bulletin Board! Together We Shine!

We want to thank all of our members for not only showing your support for the programs and events that we provide, but for strengthening our collective voice for advocating for kids in our state!

Programs & Events

As a refresher, here are the excellent programs & events we have provided or supported this year:

• Kindergarten Summer Playdates
• Ice Cream Social
• Art Docent program - bringing art to every classroom at Canyon Creek
• Math Challenge
• Afterschool Enrichment Programs
• S.T.E.M. Night with Pacific Science Center
• Multicultural Night
• Fall Skate Night
• Library Brigade - coordinating volunteers for library assistants for (almost) every class, every week
• Watch D.O.G.S. program (supported by PTA)
• Running Club (supported by PTA)

Stonger Voice

The reason a larger collective voice is important is that it gives PTA Leadership a stronger voice when they go to Olympia to fight for important legislation. Check out our January Membership Update for information about the big items PTA will be talking about. 

Want to share your opinions without heading to Olympia? Here's a way to get involved without leaving your home! Check out the Washington State PTA Action Network - you will get alerts about actions you can take and you make the choice if want to support whatever issue they are talking about!

Haven't bought into the PTA thing yet? Well, please know that there is NO OBLIGATION to go to meetings or volunteer for ANYTHING!! It's about supporting what the PTA does locally, at our awesome school - and it's about support the issues and priorities that focus on children ALL OVER OUR STATE!!
