We hosted a new event for our kindergarten families last week - on the first two days of drop off for kindergarteners. We asked if they were WOOHOO! or BOOHOO! about the first day of Kindergarten.
The turn out was great and we met a lot of new parents - and some returning parents with kindergarteners too. Most families seemed pretty good with the drop-off and their students were READY TO GO! Lots of mixed feelings with first child to go to kindergarten, last of the littles to go, only kiddo off to school...but hopefully the coffee and "Hugs & Kisses" (Chocolate Hershey's Kisses) helped make the day better!
THANKS to all of the kindergarten parents, grandparents & guardians who joined us after drop off for our new Kindergarten Boohoo Woohoo events last Monday & Tuesday.
CHEERS to all our PTA leaders and our school leaders for welcoming our new Kindergarten families, specifically Emily Cross, Casey Dwyer, Megan King, Nicole Trimble, Jennifer Snyder, Melanie McKenzie, Mr. Denton and Ms. Airhart. Much appreciation for helping to make their first day a little sweeter.
