A safe and secure learning and working environment is our priority.

Northshore School District has put together a presentation about where they are in the Safety & Security Preparation and Planning process. The bond passed this year (Proposition 2: Capital Projects Bond) provides for safety and security updates at all schools as well as many other things. Did you know?

100% of Northshore schools have:

  • Received Active Threat training
  • Conducted lockdown drills
  • Conducted evacuation drills  (*Bus drivers conduct evaluation drills twice a year.)

Totals of 231 drills, district wide, conducted as of April 23, 2018:

  • 80 fire drills
  • 68 lockdown drills
  • 55 earthquake drills
  • 28 shelter-in-place drills

 

What's Happening?

  • Partnerships with law enforcement from three jurisdictions and two sheriff's offices
  • Site response documentation
