1st Annual Multicultural Night!

We are excited to announce that our first Multicultural night will be on Friday, November 9th, 6-8pm. Mark your calendars!!

Everyone is Welcome!

Whether you decide to participate or not, we invite you and welcome you to come learn about the vast array of cultures represented at our school. The night will include presentation areas for school families to share - as well as a fashion walk to spotlight the clothing of different cultures! Should be a fun and informative evening!

How to Participate

We will have the presentation area in the cafeteria with tables setup for our families' displays! Also, we will have a fashion walk for our families to show off their culture's clothing - all family members are welcome to participate.  

Here are some ideas to think about for culture displays/presentations:

 
  • Dress in special attire
  • Prepare food, providing samples
  • Demonstrate instruments
  • Play/teach games
  • Speak your language
  • Share holiday traditions
  • Document history of culture/country/region/etc.
  • Provide facts on your culture on a poster board
  • Setup crafts for students/children to do
  • Share interesting photos
  • Share maps of your country
  • Display sports information/equipment
  • Tell stories
  • Share art

We all have culture to share! Whether you share something from around the world - or a family tradition from right here in Bothell, everyone is welcome to participate.

Two ways to register:

  • ** NEW ** Register ONLINE!!  (TURNED OFF 10/27)
  • Or print a paper registration form (here or below); please complete the form and return it to school.

The NEW deadline for registration is Friday, October 26th (extended to allow more time for registration).

 

Opportunities to Help

As with any event, it takes many hands to bring it all together. If you would love to help out the afternoon/evening of the event, please sign up today! Middle & high school students are welcome!
