We wanted to share with you the "big stuff" that happened at our final PTA General Membership Meeting of the school year. 

2020-21 Executive Board Elections

We are pleased to announce that at our PTA General Meeting on Tuesday, May 19th, the Canyon Creek PTA membership elected the PTA Board for the 2020-2021 school year. 

Here are the 2020-2021 PTA Executive Board Members:

• VP Communications: Jennifer Snyder
• VP Programs: Melanie Mckenzie
• Secretary: Emily Cross
• Treasurer: Mumtaz Zimbalist

Local PTA Award Announcement

Our local PTA award recipients were acknowledged and we shared photos and words of appreciation about them that were shared when they received their awards on Monday (the day before the meeting).

• Outstanding Educator - Molly Goodspeed & Ruth Hansen
• Outstanding Advocate - Jennifer Snyder

Other News

We also have a few items we wanted to share with everyone!

• Membership voted to adjust the dues of membership for the 2020-21 school year to be $10 - to make sure its as affordable as possible in the current COVID-19 situation.
• Membership approved the 2020-21 PTA budget.
• Skyview Principal Dawn Mark and Skyview PTA President Barby Taheri welcomed incoming 6th grade families. Incoming 6th grade students & families should expect to see information about virtual tours and more.
• Mr. Denton shared a Volunteer Appreciation video (YouTube) for ALL volunteers who help at the school!
