The "Hour of Code" workshop provides guided programming exercises designed to
teach the basic tools of coding - if/then, loops, etc.
This is a FREE event for any Canyon Creek student - all grades welcome,
however, some students may need a little more help reading the directions on the computer.
"Hour of Code" will be held in the Canyon Creek Library on January 29th.
We have scheduled three time slots for this evening event.
Students can join us for ONE (1) session to ensure there is space for as many individual students as possible.
Time slots: 4:45-5:45pm, 6:00-7:00pm, 7:15-8:15pm
All session are full.
Looks like we are pretty set for volunteers - thank you to everyone to already signed up!!
We are also in need of some volunteers to help kids with basic coding/programming as they
work their way through guided steps using internet-based programs.
You don't need to be a programmer to be able to help!
Middle & High School students are welcome to earn their volunteer hours!!!!
Learn about Hour of Code on the code.org website.
They have all of the Hour of Code modules available for anyone to use at anytime!
You can also read about the organization and what their goals are - it's awesome!
