Join Canyon Creek's First Grade teaching team for this fun event to welcome our incoming first graders from 10 - 11:30 a.m. on Thursday, August 10th.
Students will be able to:
Meet the 1st grade teaching team
Meet their new classmates
Enjoy fun activities
Have a snack in the cafeteria
Play on the playground
Please drop your child off at 10 a.m. at A Building, then head to the playground to meet other first grade families.
You are welcome to bring siblings and have them play on the playground while your first grader is with us. PTA representatives will be there to greet you, answer questions, and let you know how to become involved in the Canyon Creek community. Or feel free to leave and meet on the playground by 11:30 am to pickup your child.
Your child will participate in classroom activities, have a tour of the school, enjoy a snack (pretzels and cheese sticks) in the cafeteria, and end on the playground for recess.

Note: Teacher assignments will not be published prior to this event. You will not be meeting your child's teacher, but rather students will get a chance to interact with all of the 1st grade teachers.
