From the CanDo5K organizers:
It goes without saying that gathering over sixteen hundred people together at the end of April for our annual CanDo5K won’t be able to happen this year. With the challenges our community is currently facing, and all the changes in our daily lives, we on the CanDo committee and the My Village Northwest board do not want this race to be one more thing that is canceled this spring.
We hope you all take this opportunity to rally virtually this year to show your support of the incredible children and adults that exemplify our 2020 CanDo5K theme: I Can, and I Will. Watch Me! Let’s run/walk/roll together virtually! Learn more.
Run your own CanDo Race! You can run, jog, walk, roll, or a combination of any of these options! You can choose the location- your favorite trail, path, or treadmill. You can choose your company— your CanDo Team, or family, or friends, or just go solo.
Post a picture/video of you doing your own CanDo on Instagram using hashtag #CanDo5K -- OR -- post to the CanDo5k Facebook page. Get creative and have fun!
We will choose the best to create a video that will be featured on the CanDo5K website at the end of the race period.

The registration process asks you to make a donation as well-- that is optional. Our team name is "Canyon Creek Coyotes" - it should default to that team if you use the link below, but you can also search for it if you go directly through the run website.

Remember: Teams with 50 registrations or more will receive a $500 donation to the school’s PTA or the represented not-for-profit to support inclusive opportunities! (50 registrations NOT 50 team members. A family registration counts as one registration.)

Let us know that your team took the 30 Day Challenge! For 30 days, take some moments to walk/run/roll. Get your bodies moving in some way! You got this!
Largest School Challenge
We want to encourage our schools to a friendly rivalry of who can form the biggest school team. Bragging rights for the year!
Best Team Spirit
Be the team that has the most fun. Wear costumes or special shirts, sing, do a cheer and celebrate as you run or train. Send in a video or picture to #CanDo5K.
