No School Board Meetings are scheduled for August!

All residents are welcome to attend regular board meetings. The board provides a public comment period at the beginning of each meeting. During public comments, individuals may address the school board. Those interested in speaking should sign up prior to the meeting on a sheet available at the back of the board room.

School Board meetings are usually held on the second Monday of the month at 4pm and the fourth Monday of the month at 7pm.  They are held in the Dr G.E. Ricketts Board Room in the Northshore School District Administrative Center, 3330 Monte Villa Parkway, Bothell, 98021.

Digging Deep into Equity and Diversity & The Unspoken Truths in American History

Join us on Saturday, June 1 for Digging Deep into Equity and Diversity & The Unspoken Truths in American History. This free community event, will focus on the question 'what is equity and diversity?'. It will also explore historical moments related to equity, and the importance of multiple perspectives. The event will be held from 12 - 3 p.m. at North Creek High School and is suitable for all Northshore families. Space is limited, so please reserve your ticket.

The community will have the opportunity to hear from Independent Education and Systems Consultant, Erin Jones in a conversation around the meaning of equity & diversity and single story projections. Jones will also host two question and answer sessions.

Additionally, attendees can visit Delbert Richardson's traveling museum, The Unspoken Truths, which showcases artifacts that symbolize the African experience in the Americas and Europe. Jones will join Richardson for a second question and answer session.

June is LGBTQ+ Pride Month

This commemorates the Stonewall Riots of June, 1969. Pride Month is observed nationally to recognize and celebrate members of the LGBTQ+ community. Our PTA welcomes and supports ALL Canyon Creek students and their families!
