WSPTA Focus Day is an opportunity for Washington State PTA members to gather in Olympia to meet legislators. This year's Focus Day is scheduled for Monday, February 11, 2019. Let’s show our legislators that our community, parents and students support excellence in education!

Digital Safety Presentation

On Wednesday, January 16th at 7pm, author and speaker Jo Langford will be giving a parent talk, "Digital Safety 101," at Canyon Park Middle School's Little Theater. Digital safety is a timely and important issue. The talk is tailored to parents to build their Inter- net "savvy" to help our kids balance their online lives with boundaries, etiquette and good judgment. Screenagers Movie Screening

On Wednesday, January 30th, 6:30-8pm, at Leota Middle School, Leota Middle School PTSA and Northshore Council PTSA are thrilled to present Screenagers: Growing Up in the Digital Age. This FREE screening event for parents and community members. Screenagers is a documentary film about the biggest parenting issue of our time, depicting teen struggles over social media, video games and internet addiction. The film reveals how tech time impacts kids’ development and offers solutions on how adults can empower kids to best navigate the digital world and find balance.
